LYS Day 2019
Saturday, April 27
Local Yarn Store Day is a brick and mortar shop appreciation day created by the TNNA Yarn Group. Launched in 2018, the second annual Local Yarn Store Day will take place on April 27 and is designed to show support for small businesses while bringing together a unique community of knitters, crocheters, weavers and spinners to drive awareness and celebrate the craft.
Second Thursday of the Month
Make time for your favorite pastime! Bring your current project, snacks and friends for a night of casual crafting and catch-up. Chances are you’ll leave having learned a new trick or gained inspiration for your next project! Remember, parking is free after 5.
2nd Saturday of the month
Calling all hand crafters! Join us as we tackle projects to donate to others. We meet the second Saturday of the month to exchange ideas, review patterns, and discuss causes in need of hats, toys, shawls, mittens . . . then we get to work! Bring your needles, hooks, yarn, looms, and crafting friends—share the love!
Last Saturday of the Month
Join us in this ongoing afghan KAL as we delve into the Aran tradition of cables, bobbles and textured fabrics. Although we aim to knit one block each month, our pace is casual. Join at any time, or bring your own afghan! No registration required—come as you can to share your tips, learn from others, and experience the joy of completing a beautiful heirloom piece with others.
