3rd Thursday (May 21)
Last Saturday of the Month
(Date change: May 23)
We tackled the Great American Afghan and were not defeated—now it’s time for a new challenge! Join us as we delve into the Aran tradition of cables, bobbles and textured fabrics. We will knit one block each month, 20 squares in all, and end with a gorgeous twisted cable edge. No registration required—come as you can to share your tips, learn from others, and experience the joy of completing a beautiful heirloom piece with others. (Note: Since this afghan is knit in one color of yarn, it is recommended to purchase enough skeins of the same dye lot before starting the project. We are using Cascade 220. Call Yarn Soup at 563-587-8044 to request your preferred color.)
