SOCKS! Toe-Up, 2-at-a-Time
Tuesday, April 11, 18, 25 and May 9 | 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Learn a “magical” new way of working socks! Knitting socks from the toe-up allows you to try on your socks as you knit to get the right fit. Working on both socks at the same time means your socks are ready to wear when you finish knitting! Students will learn Judy’s Magic Cast On to create seamless toes while working both socks simultaneously using the Magic Loop technique as they create a cozy pair of slipper socks.
Prerequisites: Students must know knitting basics (cast on, knit, purl, bind off) and must be comfortable knitting in the round. Prior experience with sock knitting is helpful but not required.
